CSL Behring in the Nordic region
CSL Behring is the world's largest manufacturer of pharmaceuticals based on plasma proteins and our goal is to save lives and improve the quality of life for people with rare and serious diseases. Four major companies (Behringwerke, Armour, ZLB and CSL) have formed what today is CSL Behring.
The company was founded more than 100 years ago by Emil von Behring, the first Nobel laureate in Medicine. Today, CSL Behring globally employs approximately 14 000 people in more than 30 countries and is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Our products are manufactured at facilities in Bern (Switzerland), Marburg (Germany) and Kankakee (USA), in accordance with international safety and quality standards. The company also operates CSL Plasma, one of the world's largest plasma collection networks.
CSL Behring has a history in the Nordic region extending over more than 50 years and today has a wide range of products in the therapeutic areas of Immunology, Coagulation, and Intensive Care.
CSL Behring’s Nordic head office is located in Danderyd, north of Stockholm, in Sweden. Those of us who work here are responsible for customer service and the further development of the company's products in the Nordic region. We also have local representatives in Norway, Finland, Denmark and Iceland.
In Denmark, we also have a sister company,
CSL Behring Aps, with offices in Copenhagen, who are responsible for the collection of Danish plasma used in the production of Immunoglobulins and Albumin for Danish patients.
